Founded in 2006, The Outhouse has developed as an independent community of comic book fans with an unapologetically honest and outspoken opinion on comics and all aspects of geek culture.
We are not a corporate-backed megasite beholden to the interests of publishers and content creators through an incestuous trade of exclusives and talent access in exchange for unabashed promotion and five star reviews (though we are willing to be for the right price.)
The Outhouse is for geeks, by geeks.
Check out The Outhouse's perfect offering of tongue-in-cheek analysis, serious commentary, and unapologetic stances on comics and pop culture. Then join our community on the forums, facebook, twitter, or your favorite social media platform!
Note from the Artist:This is a personal fan-fiction variation on the X-Men. I thought it would be a fun exercise to do the X-Men in an alternate medieval/fantasy reality. Prejudice and discrimination were rampant in our history. Being a darker and less civilized time, fear and hatred ran deeper making it an interesting setting for the X-Men. The quest to protect and defend the ‘gifted’ would be near insurmountable.

Having, somehow, survived the 1990s Mr. Terror has grown (and grown) to become a reasonably responsible adult by raising a family a family of non-gingers and doing something professionally with computers… probably, I don’t really know.
` Various Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast and crew members have been stressing to fans that they wait until after the credits have rolled before changing the channel. Well, this trailer gives a big hint as to why:
` After getting a taste of fanboy tears last week when telling the world they had three huge announcements to make and then not announcing Half-Life 3, Valve has decided it likes the taste of those tears. So it’s come out that they filed a trademark for Half-Life 3 on September 26th and considering that the game is rumored to be on the way ever other month with the littlest of actual proof to back it up, this was too much for fans.
